Heartburn Tea, Organic
Ugh. Heartburn. It's a pain. Literally. Especially when pregnant. And what can you do with the little sweetheart wreaking havoc?
With any heartburn, consider a possible food intolerance. It's usually the source. Try removing foods one at a time to try it out. Some suggestions: gluten, dairy, eggs, beer, or nightshade veggies (potatoes, tomatoes.)
Herbs coming to the rescue here are Meadowsweet, Marshmallow root, Rose, & Calendula. All help with digestion, soothe the gut, and excess stomach acid.
Some precautions come with this tea:
Do not drink it if you've taken ibuprofen or aspirin.
Caution with asthma.
If you are on warfarin, please avoid this tea.
If you are allergic to aspirin, do not drink this tea.
