A cup of calm before the storm!

Feeling gross or bloated?
A bit moody? Grumpy?

Exhaustion can be overwhelming.

Tulsi, or Holy Basil, is an adaptgenic herb meaning it helps with the stress response. Yes, there can be stress in this instance. It's also full of minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants to help support mood and cognition. Hurray!
Cramp bark, of course, for cramping or discomfort.
Passionflower is calming, stablises mood, helps with nervousness and can promote sleep.
Yarrow is known to help regulate the female hormonal cycle & promote healthy menstruation. Its anti-inflammatory capabilities can help with aches & pains and possibly headaches.
Ginger is warming, manages pain and is anti-inflammatory.

Consider taking magnesium during this time. Citrate or glycinate can help with mood, muscle cramps, insomnia, concentration, & irritability. Taking about 300 mg before bed is useful. If too much magnesium is taken, it will cause loose bowels. Just decrease the dose.

Consider taking Evening Primrose Oil on days 1 through to 15 of the cycle to help with PMS symptoms.

Eliminate sugars, honey, sweeteners and any foods that cause bloating, a runny nose, or aches and pains. Yes, get rid of all the fun stuff. Sigh.
